A public interest litigation was filed in the J&K High Court by members of the YLF team highlighting the issue of the pending case in the State Information Commission (abolished) and the general suspension of the Fundamental Right to Information of the People of Jammu & Kashmir, post amendment to the Article 370 of the Constitution of India.

The Hon'ble Court was pleased to direct the Government of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir to do the needful with reference to the grievance projected by the petitioners.
